I studied Scientific Programming at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences an received my bachelor's degree in 2010. Parallel to the bachelor studies I was educated as mathematical and technical Software Engineer (MATSE) at the Chair of Electrical Engineering and Computer Systems of RWTH Aachen University in an integrated degree program. Onwards I studied Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Knowledge Engineering of Maastricht University and received my master's degree with honors in 2012. Between 2014 and my graduation in 2021 I was a PhD student in the Learning Technologies Research Group of RWTH Aachen University where Prof. Ulrik Schroeder was my supervisor. During the master studies and until today I work at the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University, first as a sofware developer and now as lecturer in the MATSE education.
